A worksheet on conjugating verbs in the present subjunctive along with practice to learn the difference between the use of subjunctive v infinitive. Also included are three activities, changing verbs from the present subjunctive to the present tense, writing original verb conversions from the present tense to the present subjunctive, and writing 10 original sentences. Answer key is provided for all sections except the original verb conversions and original sentences.

There are 16 sentences total. A structured template is provided after every sentence for students to write their sentences.

Practice: Reflexive verb sentences with infinitive (present tense)
Translate each sentence in two ways: (A) Place the reflexive pronoun before the conjugated verb, and (B) Attach the reflexive pronoun to the infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir).
Note: Sentence #7 will only have one translation.

Reflexive verbs with infinitive placement practice
For each set of sentences, choose the correct reflexive infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir) using the word bank. For the first sentence, write the reflexive infinitive and the reflexive pronoun. For the second sentence, write the reflexive pronoun and reflexive infinitive. Note: The reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos, os, se) must match the subject.
There a 7 set of sentences (42 sentences total). The word bank includes 7 reflexive infinitives.

There are 11 questions total. All questions are the same (see example below) but with different subjects.
For each question, follow these guidelines:
Choose a different infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir) from the list below and use it in your answer.
Answer each question in a complete sentence in the template provided.
After the infinitive (-ar, -er, -ir), add 2-3 words to expand on your answer. Be sure that your answer makes sense.
The list of infinitives includes the English translation (Ex: hablar: to speak)

The environment with present subjunctive
Many citizens of the town “El rico” are concerned about various environmental issues. They have sent their complaints to the town’s mayor, José Ruiz. In response, the mayor has decided to write an email to all town citizens in order to provide solutions to their concerns.
